Lowry’s Bar

Lowry’s Bar is well known for its warm and friendly atmosphere, range of premium gins and whiskeys, and live folk and traditional music, which can be enjoyed seven nights a week. The bar has been in the Lowry family since 1949; in its early days, a dentist ran his practice from a small room at the back of the pub, meaning that patrons had the unusual opportunity to both enjoy a drink and have their toothache cured! Today, Lowry’s bar is recommended by Lonely Planet and regarded as one of the best pubs in Clifden.
